Recover abandoned carts, alert shoppers the moment items are back in stock, and keep buyers posted on every order — primarily over web push, no app install or email address needed. Email, SMS, and WhatsApp ride the same audience.
WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so you install the same ReachBell plugin — UI, CLI, or Composer — on the site that hosts your shop.
# Option 1 — wp-admin > Plugins > Add New > search "ReachBell"
# (the same plugin powers WordPress and WooCommerce)
# Option 2 — WP-CLI
wp plugin install reachbell --activate
# Option 3 — Composer
composer require reachbell/wordpress
Turn on the store campaigns
After activation, open Settings → ReachBell and switch to the WooCommerce tab. Each campaign is a toggle pointed at a template you can edit in the dashboard.
Connect your project — paste the project ID from app.reachbell.com. The plugin verifies it live and confirms with a green check.
Abandoned cart — set the idle delay, pick web push first with email or SMS fallback, and choose how many reminders to send before stopping.
Back-in-stock — enable the waitlist button on out-of-stock products so shoppers subscribe in one tap and get pushed the instant inventory returns.
Orders & price drops — map order status changes to transactional messages and turn on price-drop alerts for viewed or carted products.
Custom hook: back-in-stock push
If you outgrow the settings UI, the plugin exposes a typed reachbell_send() helper you can call from any WooCommerce hook.
<?php
// wp-content/themes/your-theme/functions.php
// Optional: fire a back-in-stock push when a product returns to stock.
add_action( 'woocommerce_product_set_stock_status', function ( $product_id, $status ) {
if ( $status !== 'instock' ) return;
$product = wc_get_product( $product_id );
reachbell_send( [
'channel' => 'push', // falls back to email/SMS if offline
'segment' => 'waitlist:' . $product_id,
'title' => 'Back in stock: ' . $product->get_name(),
'body' => 'It sold out fast last time — tap to grab yours.',
'url' => get_permalink( $product_id ),
'image' => wp_get_attachment_url( $product->get_image_id() ),
'utm' => [ 'source' => 'woo', 'medium' => 'push', 'campaign' => 'back-in-stock' ],
] );
}, 10, 2 );
What you get
Everything a WooCommerce store needs to win back revenue — cart recovery, stock and price alerts, order updates, and segments — all on one audience and one dashboard.
Abandoned-cart recovery
The bundled WooCommerce add-on watches for carts left idle after 30 minutes and sends a personalized web push with the product image — no email address required. Offline shoppers fall back to email, SMS, or WhatsApp automatically.
Back-in-stock alerts
Add a waitlist button on any out-of-stock product. When WooCommerce flips the item to in-stock, ReachBell pushes every waiting subscriber instantly — the fastest way to clear restocked inventory.
Order & shipping updates
Order confirmed, payment received, packed, shipped, out for delivery, delivered — each WooCommerce status change maps to a transactional message your customers actually open.
Price-drop alerts
When a product or sale price drops, notify shoppers who viewed it or added it to cart. Great for clearing slow movers and bringing window-shoppers back at the right moment.
One audience, every channel
Web push, mobile push, email, SMS, and WhatsApp all share the same WooCommerce customer profile, so a segment built once works across every channel from a single dashboard.
India-first, compliant by default
INR pricing with GST invoices and UPI checkout, plus DPDP and GDPR consent capture and a one-click preference center — opt-ins and STOP events flow straight into the ReachBell audit log.
Everything teams usually ask before switching. Something missing? Email us — a human replies.
Do I need a separate plugin for WooCommerce?
No. The official ReachBell WordPress plugin includes the WooCommerce add-on. Install it on the WordPress site that runs your store, connect your project, and the cart, order, and stock triggers light up automatically.
Does abandoned-cart recovery need the shopper's email address?
No — that's the point of web push. A shopper opts in with one tap and you can reach them even if they never typed an email. If you do have their email, SMS, or WhatsApp on the WooCommerce order, ReachBell uses it as an automatic fallback when they're offline.
Which WooCommerce events can I trigger on?
Cart abandonment, product back-in-stock, every order status transition (processing, completed, shipped, refunded, and custom statuses), and price changes. Each maps to a template you edit in the dashboard, and you can also call reachbell_send() from your own hooks.
How much does it cost to start?
Free for your first 1,000 subscribers — no credit card. Paid plans are billed in INR with GST invoices and support UPI, cards, and net banking, so there's nothing to convert or expense from abroad.
